New Delhi: US Police have refuted claims suggesting that Goldy Brar, suspected of involvement in the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was killed in a shooting incident in California. Two individuals were reportedly shot in Fresno, California, with one succumbing to injuries in the hospital, as confirmed by police officials.
Lieutenant William J Dooley dismissed the rumours as "misinformation," clarifying the situation amid global inquiries. "We have received inquiries from around the world this morning as a result of misinformation being spread on social media and online news agencies," stated Dooley. "We are not sure who started this rumour, but it caught on and spread like wildfire. But again, it isn't true. The victim is definitely not Goldy."
Local reports have identified the deceased individual as 37-year-old Xavier Galdney.
Goldy Brar, also known as Satinderjit Singh, remains a wanted criminal, labelled as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against him, with a non-bailable warrant already in place.
